    For years people have sat through hours of teaching inside of the church building; they have read hundreds of books and listened to thousands of teachings of teachers who recorded their sermons on tapes, cds and mp3 players. It is frustrating to sit and listen, yet rarely have the opportunity to ask questions about what you hear or see. Sometimes different teachings only foster more questions that seem to never get answered.
     
    Apostle Melvin L. Tisdale has been a pastor for 33 years at Church on the Rock. He is not afraid of questions. It is not uncommon for someone to interrupt him while he is teaching to make a point or ask him a question. He either answers the question to the best of his biblical knowledge and years of experience...or he simply says he does not know, but will check it out. As a matter of fact, he encourages all of the members to search out the answer to questions, realizing that everyone has a different view on the same truth, bringing a more cohesive understanding to questions.
     
    So.....ask your question. If you do not hear back quickly with an answer please be patient. There may need to be research conducted on your particular question.
     
    Church on the Rock, Wells of Salvation and Success in Ministry, along with other ministries that we are affiliated with do not believe that we know everything. However, it is time to get answers to questions we have had for a long time. Apostle Tisdale often says that "God does not answer questions we do not ask."
